Chill Out is FREE!
Students are not asked to pay any individual registration or membership fees.
Chill Out is independently funded and relies almost exclusively on fundraising, grants, sponsorships and donations.
Robots are complicated!
The team is constantly chasing new technology. Whether a new robot drivetrain, an optical targeting system, or in-season robot redesigns.
It's more than robots!
Through FIRST, 90% of students reported gains in communication, 93% reported gains in conflict resolution, 95% reported improved time management and 94% reported better problem solving ability.

One of our best seasons in our history
The team is currently ranked 64th in the world, out of more than 3,400 teams. And we head into Pacific Northwest District Championship in the top 10 for qualifying points. With these rankings the team has already qualified for District Championships and have a good chance to qualify for World Championship in Houston.
Houston and FIRST
FIRST Robotics is a World-wide program that combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. Houston is where FIRST Championship is held, with hundred of teams and 50,000 attendees from all over the world. This event is April 16-21.
Help
The team is 100% independently funded and with the high chance of the invitation to World Championships we are seeking additional sponsorships to help us take advantage of this opportunity. We have been fundraising all year for this chance, already raising over $50,000. This final push will help ensure we are sustainable into next year, without exhausting funds getting to Houston. In the unfortunate event we do not qualify, your contributions will help the team next season.
